The next time I say 'Ya know I think I'm going to take a few minutes to clean up that old Vibroplex bug' someone just slap me. Well six hours later here it is, restored to good working condition. I basically removed and cleaned every single part down to the screw and washer. I also made a counterweight, which was missing. Key is a Vibroplex Original with the black Japanned cast iron base with gold pin striping. It is serial number 85,852 which according noted Vibroplex expert John Elwood's (WW7P) excellent publication ' BIRTH DATES OF THE VIBROPLEX KEYS' gives it a date of 1922.
