Since you posted here.have Borland fixed the bug yet, whereby ActiveX controls which imported fine in Delphi 5, no longer work in Delphi 6?

I post this here, since anyone on this forum looking at Delphi will inevitably want to import and use their myriad control toolsets which they currently happily use in VB6. I was not happy to see all the posts about ActiveX controls being broken in Delphi 6.and am waiting to see whether their is an aknowledged fix before continuing my investigations. Seems we still have an open issue on PixTools controls and the DBGrid.ocx file, but I'm not finding any open issues on importation of general ActiveX controls.

Which ActiveX controls were you referring to that worked in Delphi 5 but don't in Delphi 6? I can probably look into the issue to identify whether it was fixed easier with the library's brand name. Later - T 'John Butler' wrote in message news:3b687a88$1@news.devx.com.

I think LoriTheCancelbot took after us like stink on , but I don't recall actually being kicked out. Yeah - let's jihad those Delphi newsgroups!

If you are looking for an update, pickup the latest one. If your driver isn't working, use the driver having the same OEM with the your laptop/desktop brand name. Driver af9015 bda windows 7. How to select driver?

Ah, that sounds like it could have been it. So. is up with these Borland guys coming over here and trolling for customers. That's about as tacky a move as I've ever seen.

Got a line on some Delphi groups? I think it's time to start pointing the virtues of c# out to people over there. - The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from.
